Returns, refunds & order issues

We want every Mewthy order to arrive safely and correctly. This policy explains how returns, refunds, cancellations and order issues are handled.

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through Mewthy.

Because trading card products can be collectible, sealed, limited or condition-sensitive, returns must be handled carefully to protect both customers and product integrity.

Collector care

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us quickly if something is damaged, incorrect or missing.

2. Return period

If you are eligible for a return, you must contact us within 14 days after receiving your order.

Returned items must be sent back within a reasonable time after your return request has been approved.

3. Return conditions

To be eligible for a return, products must be:

  • Unused and unopened.
  • In the same condition as received.
  • In the original packaging.
  • Complete with all included items, accessories, inserts and protective packaging where applicable.
  • Returned with proof of purchase or order confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

4. Sealed products

Sealed Pokémon TCG and trading card products can only be returned if they remain fully sealed, unopened and in their original condition.

Opened booster packs, opened boxes, opened collections, opened accessories or products with broken seals cannot be returned, unless required by applicable consumer law.

This is important because once a sealed product is opened, its collector value and product integrity are changed.

5. Non-returnable items

The following items are generally not eligible for return:

  • Opened booster packs, booster boxes, ETBs, collections or sealed products.
  • Products with broken seals, damaged packaging caused after delivery, or missing parts.
  • Gift cards or digital products.
  • Items marked as final sale, clearance or non-returnable where permitted by law.
  • Products that cannot be resold due to handling, damage or missing packaging.

6. Damaged, incorrect or missing items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete, contact us as soon as possible with:

  • Your order number.
  • A clear description of the issue.
  • Photos of the product, packaging and shipping box where relevant.

We will review the issue and help find a suitable solution where applicable.

7. Minor packaging imperfections

Trading card products may sometimes have minor packaging imperfections from manufacturing, handling or transport.

Small marks, light corner wear, minor dents or slight shrink-wrap imperfections may occur and do not always qualify for a refund or replacement.

If you are a sealed collector and packaging condition is very important to you, please contact us before ordering so we can help where possible.

8. How to request a return

To request a return, contact us by email before sending anything back.

Please include your order number and the reason for your return request.

Items sent back without approval may not be accepted.

9. Return shipping

Unless the return is caused by our mistake or a confirmed issue with the order, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a tracked shipping method. We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.

10. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will let you know whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method.

Please note that it may take several business days for your bank or payment provider to process and post the refund.

11. Exchanges

Exchanges may be possible depending on product availability and the condition of the returned item.

Because many trading card products can sell out quickly, we cannot guarantee that the same product will still be available.

12. Cancellations

If you want to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

If the order has not yet been processed or shipped, we may be able to cancel it. Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and must be handled as a return where eligible.

13. Consumer rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

If you are located in the European Union, you may have statutory rights regarding online purchases, subject to applicable exceptions and conditions.
